🌿 Inspiration

Every garden has its rhythm — bloom and breath, chaos and stillness. My paintings grow from those rhythms: the fierce bloom of our Newburyport garden, the wild gestures of Joan Mitchell, and the small daily moments that catch my eye — a curve of light, a cluster of flowers, a tide of color. These walks, these seasons, these songs become paint. What begins in the world around me becomes a living field on canvas — rooted in soil, memory, and soul.

Here are some pictures and photos I've collected from walks and the web that inspired me and my paintings. These images reflect moments, colors, and forms that have influenced my artistic process, serving as visual references and sources of creative energy. Through these glimpses of the world, I translate everyday scenes into abstract expressions and vibrant colorfields that resonate with my conceptual approach.
