Hong Kong Pop-Up · 2022
In May 2022, I transformed a storefront on Hollywood Road in Central, Hong Kong, into a week-long pop-up exhibition of my work. The space brought together several bodies of painting created during my years in Hong Kong, from large-scale abstractions and color fields to portraits and smaller studies.
More than an exhibition, the pop-up became a gathering place: art on the walls, people coming through the doors, conversations, a reception, and the energy of Hong Kong just outside. What began as a temporary space became a snapshot of a particular moment in my life and work.
